have me draw your portrait!
i’ve always admired artist friends who sit around on trains and in coffeeshops drawing the people around them. i’ve done it many times as well but honestly i’m too self conscious and i keep trying to hide what i’m working on so usually i don’t do too well. i figured maybe i should try this online instead? i’m doing a new comic book and practice with faces and people is what i need right now.
if you don’t already, then follow this blog, reblog this post and post me a photo reply of you and i’ll draw you in my sketchbook! also, if you want, post a fact or two about yourself, your likes, your fav pet, fav color, something? portraits will be simple but it could still be fun to do more than just a face. also, i don’t guarantee perfect likeness ;)
i’ll try to do as many as possible over the next couple of months and post at least one but hopefully a couple every week, i don’t know if all will be on tumblr but on my personal blog for sure. first, above, is my self portrait. if you’ve got a blog or website i’ll link that from the portrait of course, as thanks for letting me draw you. if you want to post it on your blog (with links/credit to yours truly) you’re free to do so but it’s absolutely not a requirement.ps. you can also post here
